In many ways, our individual stories take us in many different directions yet in 2021, the vision for The Gospel Jazz Project brought the band together. 

​

Jonathan (piano) and Justyn (trumpet/trombone) have been playing together since 2018 and have long desired to find a way of combining the joy of jazz with the joy of the gospel. 

 

The vision became a reality when on the 21st July 2021, Jonathan, Justyn, Lucy (saxophone) and Douglas (cajon/ vocals) played in front of their first public audience at St Ebbe's Church in Oxford.
